    Conclusion
    So what does it mean to be human? The general theme I have come up with is that humans want to better themselves and improve the world. Whether it be for themselves, their family, or their country, humans want to advance. We create governments and economies to keep organized and keep chaos away. We are curious and try to learn new things all the time making us smarter and more able. We make irrational decisions in order to learn from our mistakes and make rational decisions next time. We have created social ladders and classes so as to stay competitive and keep people trying to climb that ladder and better themselves. We fight for what we believe in. Tragedy occurs and we learn from what we can't change. Humans take charge. To be human means to want new adventures, education, power, and organization. Without those different elements we would not be human at all.

    Greatness and Tragedy

    Although sad, tragedy is needed for the human race to survive. Unfortunately, our world would become way more overpopulated and out of control if we didn't have some way to thin out the herd. That is a sad but true thing to say. To be human, we want what’s best for mankind. We only want good things to happen but with bad comes good. Humans could not survive if we didn't have bad events happen us so we could learn and grow from them. Think of the Black Death. Without that, we might not have some of the modern medicine that we do today because there would have been no incentive to get create it.

    War, a sad part of the human culture. To be human, we must have war. I like to say it is a necessary evil. Without it, one person could be controlling the whole world right now. To be human, you fight for what you believe, like us Americans fighting in the revolutionary war. We wanted freedom and change, to get it we had to fight. Although it is sad, war makes humans human. Humans will always want what they want and will usually do a lot to get it. {war.jpg}

    See this Powerpoint for government and ecomony!
    {Government Foundation of the Xiongnnu Empire.ppt}
    {government.jpg} This presentation goes into detail about one specific government for a civilization. I feel that to be human we always want some sort of organization and comfort to know that we are protected. Anarchy is never a good option so to be human without government and organization equals chaos and dismay. Economy is also important in that without out it, people would not be able to manage money or trade. Throughout history trade has been a key role in keeping the human race alive and kicking.
